Inclusive Cycling

Inspiring healthy lifestyles have a wide range of inclusive cycles, including: wheelchair transporter, rickshaw, sided by side company bike, hand bike, trikes and childrens trikes.

All sessions have currently been postponed and as soon as we are able to safely restart sessions we will.

Would you like to volunteer as a Chase Fit: Inclusive Cycling leader?

As a leader you will be responsible for supporting the running of Inclusive Cycling sessions, as part of the Chase Fit Outdoor Activity Scheme. The role will support adults and children with additional needs to experience cycling by using our adapted cycles.

This role plays an important part in helping Inspiring healthy lifestyles achieve its vision to ‘inspire people to choose healthy, active and creative lifestyles’. This role contributes to our vision by increasing physical activity and community cohesion.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Lead, inspire and motivate all participants to embrace the Chase Fit Ethos ‘Everyone to be active outdoors’
  2. Comply with all health and safety requirements
  3. Completion of relevant paperwork and following reporting systems

Key requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with adults and children with additional needs
  • Relevant activity leadership award or experience General
  • The above requirements of the job are intended as a basic outline. There will be other tasks related to ensuring customer satisfaction, care and safety, and the Chase Fit Inclusive Cycling Leader will be expected to adopt a flexible and helpful approach.
